Privacy Notice

How SDB UK Developments Ltd handles personal data collected through this website and in the course of business.

1. Who is the data controller

SDB UK Developments Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12747873, registered office Kincraigie, Over Ross Street, Ross-On-Wye, HR9 7AU), is the data controller for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

  • Enquiry details you submit: name, company, work email, what you sell, and any message.
  • Business contact details of people at prospect or client companies, used for B2B outreach.
  • Correspondence with us by email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or phone.
  • Basic technical data your browser sends when visiting this site, such as IP address and user agent.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

  • Responding to your enquiry — consent you give on the contact form, and our legitimate interest in replying to business contacts.
  • Delivering an engagement — performance of our contract with you.
  • B2B outreach on behalf of clients — our and our clients' legitimate interest in offering relevant business services to organisations.
  • Records, accounting and legal claims — legal obligation and legitimate interest.

4. How the contact form works

The form on this site does not store your details in a database. It opens your own email application with the information pre-filled so you can send it to us. Once sent, the message sits in our email system and is used only to reply and discuss working together.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party marketing. We share it only with our email, hosting and IT providers acting on our instructions, with a client where you have asked to be introduced to them, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to keep your data protected.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to an engagement are kept for 6 years after it ends, in line with UK accounting and limitation requirements. You can ask us to erase your details sooner.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise any of these, use the contact links on this site.

9. Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only storage strictly necessary to serve the site is used.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
